Welcome to our stylish home located in Kissimmee, located just 10 minutes from Disney parks at the luxurious Storey Lake resort and is perfect for your family's vacation. Enjoy the private pool and spacious accommodations for up to 11 guests, with two king beds, two twin beds, and a bunk bed with full and twin beds. A fully equipped kitchen rounds out the perfect family vacation rental.
This spacious and stylish home provides the perfect setting for a family vacation. The main living area is a large open concept with plenty of seating for everyone. The fully equipped kitchen contains all the necessary appliances, cookware, and dinnerware for a comfortable stay. The two king bedrooms offer a sense of luxury and comfort, one located in the first floor and the other is the master suite on the second floor. Still on the second floor you will find one bedroom with one full and one twin beds while the Mickey-themed bedroom, with a bunk bed with full and two twin beds, offers a fun and exciting experience for the kids. These 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. After a long day at the parks, relax in the comfort of your own private pool.
For your comfort the home has a laundry room with washer and dryer, free WiFi, free parking, and a welcome package including basics for the bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, soap and toilet paper and for the kitchen with sponge, detergent, washer soap and trash bags (replenish of these items are guest responsibility).
Storey Lake Resort has the perfect location just 10 minutes from all major attractions and theme parks in Orlando (Walt Disney World, Universal Resort and Sea World). You will find fantastic resort amenities for the whole family to enjoy with a tiki bar, a resort-style pool with slides and lazy river, sports court, mini-golf, kaiak and fitness center. There are 2 clubs inside the property, one of them with a themed pirate pool that kids will love is just walking distance from the house. Amenities
Quite a few items with issues. Based on previous reviews, these were pointed out but never fixed. Ceiling fan didn’t work; water filter on fridge needed replaced long ago; pots and pans quite old and worn; tv instructions are very wrong; trash instructions are wrong; pool lights burnt out so can’t swim at night; lights over kitchen island are very dusty, furniture is velvet and not very convenient for hot Florida. Needs a good deep cleaning. <br/>It would be a great place, but these items were pointed out before and were not changed or fixed for our stay. <br/>Hopefully they can be addressed for the next guests. Host was friendly and responsive but didnt feel very connected or aware of the condition or amenities on property. We asked in advance about a fan, we were told there was none so we bought one but there actually was one. We found someone's bandaid near the pool, a straw in a chair, the bed was broken, the sheets didnt fit the master bed, no patio cushions were initially provided then the ones we got were too small. We had an issue with the deadbolt lock that wouldn't allow us to close the door twice making us late to leave for appointments, there are broken fixtures, the string lights are burnt out over the pool and there are stains on some chairs. This location is great but the house needs some care and maintenance. We overall enjoyed our stay but previous stays on Windermere in Story Lake were better quality. Coming for a week, we expected to feel at home at our rental, and instead, it was problem after problem. There were tiny attempts to fix things, however, nothing was really resolved.
We would have never booked with this property had we known we’d have so many issues, and feel as though, all the property owner wanted was to take our money. $1800 is a lot of money, and we still had to spend more of our own to make adjustments.
The issues we had:
- Lamp in kids room doesn’t work
- Globe on island broken (this is a major safety hazard!!!!)
- No spatulas
- No pot holders
- Tv in kids room doesn’t work
- String lights don’t work
- Grill wasn’t clean & no propane (management solved this, however could not use it first bc no propane, then we couldn’t get grill to light)
- Fan downstairs room won’t work
- Panel on dishwasher broken
- No remote for outside tv- was given the following day after it was needed
Back patio area was disgusting
- bugs everywhere My family and I enjoyed this place. Really beautiful and plenty of space for our little group. The kids couldn't stay out the pool. It was a must everyday for them. We most definitely will return.
